thanks for the recipe neva! maia loves pancakes and haven’t tried making them with banana and raisins yet. will try them next time! hmmm the oatmeal suggestion is also interesting. aso far maia loves eating carrot and/or cheese pancakes (i just grate them and mix with the batter).

Pretty soon, you can make cheesy caldereta too! :) I’ll try out those special cookies we’ve been talking about… not the one that makes you loopy. :P By the way, you should try putting the raisins in hot water for a few minutes so they don’t dry up and remain chewy when you cook them. It’s what I do for my oatmeal-raisin cookies. :)

pancakes are always a hit with the kids! and your combo is really a classic, best-seller talaga yan with bananas and maple syrup, and I too use Pillsbury, but with egg na :)

nevie – a treat for you and dan, try mixing it with choco chip baking (semi sweet or dark) and sliver almonds=) you can also stew some apple with cinnamon and raisin then top it on a classic pancake=)

wow! at least you’re not afraid to flex your muscles in the kitchen after your sinigang na baboy attempt! congratulations on your pancakes! you can add anything to this batter, you can try adding peanut butter if DW isnt allergic to peanuts. or mashed veggies like potatoes and greens like brocolli for a healthier option! try jessica seinfeld’s recipes for treats fit for a growing boy like DW!
