Meet Nella Cordelia.
Meet Kelle, Nella’s mom.
I read this and held back tears (I was in the office) but I was rooting for Kelle and Nella all throughout. There is so much truth in Kelle’s (Nella’s mom) story. The hesitation, the doubt and then the love that comes after discovering that you and your child are one and the same.
The amazing pictures are another thing.
Kelle’s love for Nella is the kind that burns brightly because it is fed by truth and complete acceptance — what a mom’s love is I guess. I hope that after reading the story that you feel empowered and inspired as I was. I want to go home now and squeeze my son to bits.

I was inspired, thanks for sharing…after much thought, and now after reading this, I am now sure I need to blog about my son who also have some special needs. As a mom, as a parent, we need to be the best advocate of our child and this story exemplifies this.

I read about her too when I saw the link at Daphne’s Diary – I was sobbing! Even Pao got teary-eyed. I ended staying up all night reading about their family. So inspiring. And Kelle’s pictures are just beautiful. Was most inspired by all the activities she did with her daughter then, and her daughters now. She’s an amazing mother.
