Private Iris Case 11 Launch
Case 11 of Private Iris is going to be launched this Saturday at Fully Booked Rockwell at 2:30 p.m. I did a review of Private Iris at the blog before and I loved the feisty Iris Able and her friend Danton Cord. The comic book is also part of Pioneer Life Insurance’s Corporate Social Responsibility, which is to teach kids proper financial management. What they want to teach kids is that it’s not how big a kid’s allowance is that’s important, it’s what they do with it. When I was growing up I got 20 pesos baon everyday and I was still able to save and buy gifts for my parents on special occasions! More details can be found in the posters at the blog 🙂 See you!
A Brand New Day: President Noynoy Aquino
President Noynoy’s Inauguration was humble and inspiring. I voted for Gibo but I salute Noynoy and most especially us Pinoys 🙂 Links to the complete transcript in both Filipino and English are found in the post and the video of Noynoy delivering the speech. Mabuhay ang Demokrasya!
Asakusa – The Sensoji Temple
We traveled along the Yellow Ginza line during BDW’s one free day in Tokyo. At the end was the old and traditional Asakusa where the Sensoji temple was. It’s a buddhist temple. In between its’ two gates is Nakamise, a line of small shops selling food and souvenir items! I posted pics over at the blog and I hope you enjoy them! Happy weekend!
Crossing Shibuya: Nante subarashii no!!
