This my dear friends is the song for you. This has been on repeat in my playlist for about a month now. If you can’t tell I’ve been feeling a little down in the dumps lately and aside from chocolates and cake, a feel good rah-rah song helps me to go on and to go forth.

“Shake It Out” is from Florence + The Machine’s 2nd CD, Ceremonials. Florence Welch’s vocals soar through this piece and it’s got a chorus that you can’t help but sing along with. This is my fight song!

The virtual hugs I got via twitter and reading through all of your comments were the bright spots to a really difficult issue that me and BDW are currently handling.

Right now I am thankful for what I have and I am not letting worry eat through me.  I am thankful for the people who love and support me and that love and gratitude extends to all of you.  Things are still challenging but I am coping and looking for that silver lining.

Thank you for holding my hand throughout this. I am teary-eyed as I write this but at least its happy tears now.

Steve Jobs fought the good fight against an unusual form of pancreatic cancer. He died on Oct. 6, 2011.

He is a modern-day revolutionary who reinvented the “click” wheel and led a company who single-handedly shaped how we consume music and entertainment. As a music fan, the iPod changed my life. My first iPod was a silver mini and my love affair with music grew even more. Now as a mom, I don’t know what I’d do without my iPhone and the apps that keep DW busy, entertained and educated in brief quiet spurts therefore allowing me to do my other motherly tasks.

Thank you so much Steve Jobs.
