October 25, 2010 at 12:59 pmMy two boys, Joaqs and Blake (7 and 2 yrs old), loves to take a bath at the same time. All they need are bubbles, lots of them! They also love their hair done with shampoo — as I mold them into every crazy shape we could think of! They’d scream “Mommy!” and strike their best pose. ;D
But what they enjoy the most is when i try to make the biggest bubble out of baby bath and water, and blow it up the air and watch it slowly descending upon them. Making a big bubble out of bath ain’t easy, but as soon as I hear them laughing and screaming when that gigantic bubble pops on one of their heads, I’d say it’s worth it π

October 23, 2010 at 1:10 amMy son loves water so much and I let him play with the running water. He babbles (maybe expressing his thoughts on the water) while he feels the cold water. I also sing a song to my son while pointing to his body parts. It’s in the tune of “This is the way we wash our (body part)”. It’s learning while enjoying! π

October 20, 2010 at 9:01 amI make bath time fun w/ my baby by blowing bubbles, singing songs and finding different ways to play with water. I whisk water with my hand and pretend they are raindrops while singing “rain, rain, go away…”. This never fails to make my TJ smile. Sometimes, I pour water over his head slowly, making him “kilig”. Plus, I quickly splash water over his chest making him surprised and laughing. =)

October 19, 2010 at 8:53 amMy baby, now almost 6 months, dreaded bath time during her first few weeks but we always make sure that when we give her a bath, we would always tell her in loud and happy voice “Wow!! bath time na!” like she enjoys it. Soon enough (after about 3 weeks), she stopped crying during bath times and we still do the wow-bathtime-thing π Aside from that, we would talk to her about how pretty and how sexy and yummy she is. She enjoys bath time now more than anything and would cry when we take her off the tub :))

October 19, 2010 at 3:09 amBath time has always been one of the things my 3-year old baby boy look forward to every morning and even before his bedtime at night. I’ve always used Lactacyd Baby Bath and Toddler Tubs for my son ever since he was born, as this was recommended to me by my mom. Lactacyd Baby Bath is effective in keeping my son’s skin smooth and soft, while the Toddler Tubs is bubbly and has a heavenly fragrance that my baby always enjoy. I always ensure that everything that my child needs before and after every bath is ready, such as the toys he play with while bathing (including the rubber duck, mickey mouse and his bubble toy), his towel, his kiddie toothbrush and toothpaste and his vitamins (vitamin c and multivitamins). I also ensure that the water’s temperature is lukewarm. I always start by singing his favorite song, as he sings with me, and gently I apply softly and gently the liquid soap (Lactacyd) from his face, going down to his neck and body to the toes. And he never ceases to be tickled and feel the comfort and my love and care as we do this every day, which becomes our bonding moment. They call this touch therapy, and I believe it truly is effective, especially as my son used to have a skin condition (skin asthma). Use of Lactacyd has truly helped in keeping his skin soft and minimizing the scars caused by the rashes he developed because of his skin health condition. Thanks to Lactacyd, bath times have always been fun for me and my baby.

October 18, 2010 at 1:31 pmthis is an age-old trick passed from my grandma to my mom to me. i ask my 1-year old daughter “asa’n ang tiki(lizard)?” she would look up then i would tickle her neck and wash the dirt off at the same time. then i ask her “taas ang kamay ng maganda!”. i don’t know if she understands what it means, but she would raise her hand then i would tickle her armpit and wash the dirt off at the same time. π it’s really fun giving her a bath, especially with her favorite Lactacyd Toddler Tubs with lots of bubbles and relaxing smell.

i am an all around dad, i do help my wife in household chores and also in taking care of our seven month old baby.. her name is khyrie (sweet!). bath time is very special for us cause it is where my baby have fun the most.. my baby’s bath time goes like this, every 8am just when we get off the bed, i will play with my baby girl and get her in the mood for ‘bathy bathy’ (that what we call it)while her mom fix ‘bathing materials’. after abt 15min of playing, my wife will call me us na, then we will go to the toilet. to make the water appealing for my baby, my wife fills the tub with BUBBLES, my baby likes bubbles a lot!! she wwould even cry if the water has no bubbles! it is always the three of us in the bathroom. happy family while the baby’s taking a bath. hehe.. aside from the colorful toys and noisy duck quacks, being there for your baby during bath time makes it fun for her. she always looks at us and throw a big smile while she is smashing her hand and kicking her feet against the water, making a big splash! sometimes your baby needs more than colorful toys to make her bath time fun, it is you whom she needs to share her laugh and giggles with during bath time.

My son always looks forward to his bath time everyday. I see to it that I prepare a nice warm bath for him paired with his extraordinary toy, his scrub with handle. He loves to use the body scrub with handle and he always rubs his back with it. Not sure, probably because he’s been watching a lot of “Sesame Street”, and that he might have got it from Ernie. He loves the “Rubber Duckie” song a lot and he also sings it during bath time. I sing along with him and it’s really a great bonding moment for both of us!
I also make sure that he only uses Lactacyd and nothing else. From my son’s first bath until now, it’s only Lactacyd for us! π

For me I think basically water temperature is the key. When water is too cold or too hot they don’t really want to. Our routine is to shower them from down up- meaning I’ll get the legs wet first and work my way up to the body so that they wont feel too cold and start a tantrum. Also I wash the hair last so it would be lest stressful for them π
Me and my husband make sure that bath time is always a fun time for our children at an early age. Bath time is our favorite bonding moment! We make sure every bath session is fun by singing fun songs about bathing, having lots of bath toys and bubbles, playing with different parts of the body… tickling their underarms, making circles around their belly button, talking using hands. Creativity is the key! When they feel bathing is fun, they normally don’t refuse! This always work for us
After bath, I always make them announce to Daddy or to their Lola: “Bango na si Sam!” They smile and giggles when their daddy kisses them and told them “Wow Sam is all clean and smell like a flower!” It’s give them a feeling of pride and achievement π
Most important of all, always stress to my husband the importance of remaining calm when our children are upset during bath time. It is important also to teach and show our children there is nothing to fear and to do it on their own level π

I’m enjoying every moment as my kids do for i know in few years the whole ritual of bath time will long gone as my kids will be old enough to bathe on their own. So make the most out of it while i can because whatever i do it will be repaid with precious memories for me and my kids in the future.

That is why, I always check the coldness and hotness of the water they will use, it should be lukewarm then I will apply the “lactacyd toddlers bubble bath” because they really love popping bubbles.. They should also have their bath toys… and make some picture picture..^_^ and most of all, I always join them in their bath time and play with them and we always enjoy that precious momments. October 15, 2010 at 12:55 pmMy babies love bathtime.
Aside from breastfeeding, bathing connects mommy (even daddy)with our little one/s.
We use Lactacyd to cleanse and warm water to rinse off the suds — sure formula for an all-day sweet-smelling baby.
Singing, soft-talking and massaging combined soothes baby / calms and relaxes too.
Keeping bathtime fun and enjoyable is key for a healthy, happy baby. π

Together in a bath tub playing with her cutie little yellow rubber duckie’s, splashing the water out of the tub and blowing the bubbles is a very fun way for her to take a bath. It takes almost an hour for her inside the bath tub. Surely taking a bath together is one of our daily favorite bonding.

Baby bath is the SPECIAL time of bonding for me and to my baby, Louise Angela. Bath time is the BEST time to play gently, talk and sing with my baby. My 9 months baby girl, Louise Angela loves to take a bath everyday. It is simply one of our BONDING moments together. Before I bathe her, I make sure I prepare everything before I start bathing. The list of things I have to prepare for my baby bath includes water, washcloth, alcohol pads, bath towel, clean diaper, any items I routinely use during a diaper change and fresh clothes. This makes baby bath easier and safer. I simply put her in a tub with lots and lots of bubbles in it, toys that she loves to play like ducks, dolls and floating toys that keep her pre-occupied while I wash her. This things help me a lot to wash her freely. and while I’m doing it, I sing her a song that she loved the most, “My toes, my kness, my shoulder my neck..” π then she imitates me singing like she’s humming a song. hahah.. I really loved doing that to her. then after I start washing her again with soap and shampoo. I make sure that the shampoo I use don’t irritates her eyes so that she won’t cry if accidentally wash her eyes. Then after I snuggle her into my arms with a bath towel. π I remember that one significant learning she achieved was during her bathing time. Because while we are playing in a tub, she accidentally holds her hand in both sides of the tub and push herself to stand. hahah.. She had her FIRST STAND on her own during bathing time. here’s the link to it showing herself trying to make a stand on her own. http://luhdz09.blogspot.com/. She was 5 months back then. haha..

Bathing time is my baby’s favorite time ever! Since i am a first time mom, i’m a little bit afraid to bath my baby,(thanks to his “lola” for supporting me). The first time i bath him was an unforgettable experience for me! I never thought he would enjoy bathing that much, he never cry like other babies do. Now that he is 14 months old he enjoy bathing more! my son loves water, and he enjoy more if i put some bubbles on the bathtub. I bought rubber ducks and small balls for him! So he can play while bathing too. We had this experience that we took a bath together, it was a great bonding time for us! we play on the water! my son loves tapping it and chasing bubbles on the tub. You know what happen after that bathing time? We fell asleep! haha! i love so being a mom! <3

October 13, 2010 at 1:53 pmEver since she was born, we always wanted her to enjoy her bath time. We never hurried or forced her to take her bath. This was important for me since I remember hating bath time when I was a child.
Even though she was too young to understand, we explained to her what we were doing, that the Lactacyd was for the face, to clean and remove dead skin, or that the wash we were using were for cleaning her hair and to wash off dried powder and dried skin all over her body. She seemed to be enjoying it because she knows we weren’t forcing it on her.. and that it was for her own good.
As she grew older, we started putting rubber/plastic toys and she’d start bathing them too. Now that she’s 2, I give her cups and old shampoo bottles. She practices transferring water from the cup to the bottle, which enhances her motor skills. I also bought her plastic balls and she understands “floating” now.
I can say she really enjoys bath time. I’m glad that she’s very positive about it so there wouldn’t be any problems in the future regarding her cleanliness and hygiene. She loves her tub, she loves the water, she loves bath-bath time! I only hope she doesn’t grow up too fast that she’ll demand to take a bath on her own.

October 12, 2010 at 12:48 pmEvery task associated with bathing and hair washing can truly be torture for kids. And the most bothersome issue for my daughter was the hair washing. The slightest pull of the hair or getting water in her eyes was shear torture.
I have learned to employ creative activities to make bath time fun for my daughter.
These things helped:
Little ones like to do as their parents do so I keep a few empty baby bath and shampoo bottles for her to fill up and squirt! She can wash her dolls this way, or pretend to wash herself. Daniella loves to wash her dolls hair as I washed hers. She is so preoccupied that she does not even care that hers is being washed!
The last in my “bag of tricks” to make bath time fun is to make silly songs up and sing them to a familiar tune as I work on particular spots that are real tough due to hypersensitivity. For my daughter it is the neck area. I let her rub Lactacyd on these spots, let it soak into the skin and “do it’s thing” while she is playing with her dolls.
The final and best part of bathtime is wrapping her up in a fluffy towel and snuggling.

October 12, 2010 at 12:09 pmMy 4-year-old daughter is a water baby. She likes any activity that involves water, a trait she inherited from her dad. Thatβs why at most times when she takes a bath, I would let her wear her swimsuits and bring her rubber duckies, toy boats, and mini beach balls inside the bathroom. She would pretend that the huge pail is her pool, and the shower is like waterfalls. I will sing to her and she dances during bath time. Having that sense of independence at an early age, she would volunteer to lather liquid soap on and rinse herself and I would guide her so sheβd do it right. Despite enjoying this moment, she knows the importance of conserving water. I taught her to turn off the faucet and the shower when itβs unnecessary to use it, and she does it willingly. I guess she also got carried away after observing the other ways we adults use water. She only saw me and her nanny a few times washing her clothes and cleaning the tiles after she bathes, later on she would always insist on washing her own clothes and cleaning the minimal dirt marks on the bathroom tiles by herself. She would put on her robe and ask me to wash clothes and clean tiles with her. This time, sheβll be the one singing her fave Disney Playhouse songs because she finds washing and cleaning fun too. Just imagine how long it takes for me and my daughter to exit the bathroom π

It takes us almost an hour to take a bath..but this is ok because, we bond and laugh together during this time. It also makes me feel young using his toiletries like Lactacyd Bubbles Bath while we are playing

October 12, 2010 at 12:32 amMy 2 yr. old son really loves taking baths. For him, bath time is also fun time. Bubble bathing in tub is his favorite and at same time I allow him to play with his rubber toys (rubber animals). He have his personal “tabo”
Sometimes we take bath together, sing his Barney songs, teach him to scrub his body and we usually end up an hour just having fun during bath time.

October 11, 2010 at 9:38 pmMy six year-old daughter loves taking baths with me. We usually huddle together when taking a bath, it’s like bathing in the rain for her! Recently, with my baby bump getting bigger every day, I let my daughter lather my tummy. It’s bonding time not just for me and my daughter, but also with her unborn sibling.
But when we can’t take a bath together, I prepare her bathing tub, yes the one for babies, and fill it half-way. And with a plastic bag of her “luto-lutan” she proceeds happily to the bathroom and hogs it for a good half hour at least.

October 11, 2010 at 5:58 pmBathing time is the best and sweetest time for me and my baby. This is the time when touching her with warm water and soap made her giggle. I make sure that every touch I sing her favorite song, “Incy Wincy Spider” while running my fingers on her delicate body. Forming the I LOVE YOU on her chest while scrubbing her body, she smiles like she really understands what I’m trying to say.

I’m lucky that my 6-month old son enjoys bathing every single day.I just need to make sure that the water temperature is just right, not too hot or cold.He doesn’t need to have any toy, he only wants that I talk to him while bathing.

October 11, 2010 at 1:22 pmBathing is always exciting, It is one of the simple bonding moments we (me and my 6 yrs son) share together. I teach him how to put shampoo on his hair and massage his scalp, I teach him how to scrub his body and how to clean and take care of his gentle. We sing together while soaping our faces in front of the mirror, of course bathing won’t be complete without brushing his teeth. I teach him how to brush and then watched him do it on his own. Rinsing and then smiling in front of mirror. He’ll start singing “I feel good I know that I should, I feel good, so good, so good I got you! while pointing his fingers at me.

October 11, 2010 at 1:01 pmI use our trusted big “batya” (laundry tub) or “batcha pool” as my daughter yana calls it filled with lukewarm water. She spends hours in there along with her toy blocks which she puts in plastic with water and sells to her ate Rachel as fishes. She enjoys bathing that way and even asks her ate rachel to fix her batcha pool everyday..

My kids always love making a big splash in their tub. Now they want to bathe in my bathtub! A warm bubble bath is made doubly fun when the 2 kids are in the tub, bathing together! They always want to make bubbles and fill the tub with soap suds and a few floating toys. They even pretend to clean my tub with my bath sponge! This completes the fun and refreshing bonding moment with mommy taking some occasional snapshots π

October 11, 2010 at 8:04 amI’m glad my toddler enjoys taking baths. She’s familiar with her bath time routine. When she sees that her yellow bath tub is already half filled with warm water, she gets excited already. We have toys designated only for the bathtub, like plastic bowls and cups. I also make sure that we keep some empty baby bath and shampoo bottles for her to fill up. She has a lot of fun doing that. These bottles are great bath time companions! When I see her having fun already with her toys then that’s the time that I will bathe her, squeezing a sponge with mild soap and water over her hair and onto her body. She enjoys that and thinks that I’m playing with her, too. The final part is — I wrap her up with a soft & fluffy towel and snuggle up to her.

October 11, 2010 at 12:18 amI make bath time fun for me and my baby by following a routine that he loves, like singing first a song and then praising him if he will go to the bathroom for a bath. I make sure that we have toys like baby and mommy ducks as his “companion” while taking a bath. ^_^
