I know for certain that Christmas is around the corner when I see workers hanging decors in Ayala Avenue’s trees and lamp posts. Ayala has always gone all the way for Christmas but the past few years have been “blah”which really reflected the economic slump but not this year!! Passing by Ayala Ave at night is a treat. Trees in the middle island of Ayala Avenue are wrapped in bright white LED lights. Some trees had sticks of LED lights that simulated rain! The lamp post all have a cluster of huge bright stars.
This year, Ayala Triangle Garden has an awesome Christmas lights and sounds show which they call Pasko! BDW and I first saw this on our way home and we knew DW would definitely enjoy the lights 🙂
So we brought DW to Makati last Friday with DW’s Lola. We picked up DW’s Lolo and we went straight to Ayala Triangle. Tower 1 has a really beautiful belen set up where the fountain is. Syempre we took pictures hehe 😀
(We had to share space with a lot of other peeps!)
We also took a pic of DW and Yaya Tems! and DW’s doing his “pogi” pose hahaha
The lights and sound show come on every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. When we got to the garden, we had to wait for the next show to so DW ran around the garden pointing out the shapes that he saw.
A lot of people were at the park that night and everyone was waiting for the next show to start.
While waiting, syempre pictures uli 🙂
And then the show started!
The lights on the ground started flickering…
And then the stars on the trees…
Then the trunks of the trees…
And then everything exploded in a chorus of lights!!
May lasers pa!!
There were smoke machines and more lights dancing! It was so cool! Everyone clapped when the show ended 🙂 It was such a great way to spend the evening and best of all, it’s FREE!!
A final pic before dinner 🙂
