As the popular saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention or in the case of babies to toddlers case, necessity built an online shop! Teresa Rufino, a mom of two thought of putting up BabiestoToddlers.com while she was pregnant and in bed rest when she figured that all the stuff she wanted and was shopping for was all available in the US. It was the same thing for me because when I was pregnant with both David and Noah, I found myself a lot of times on Amazon and Target.com ordering bottles and swaddling linens for my boys. They were all sent to of course relatives who were coming home to the Phils for a visit.
But Teresa took it one step further and built a business bringing all the good stuff she found abroad and online to a one-stop online shop. Babiestotoddlers.com carries Teresa’s personal choices of really cool baby and toddler items. Mind you, this site is not a reseller, Babies to Toddlers is the official distributor of the products you see at her site.
I registered at the site to see how the user experience is and ordered teething sticks for Noah, which I paid for via Paypal. The transaction was hassle free and I got confirmation emails and the receipt of my purchase right away. Here are three great things about shopping at Babies to Toddlers:
-
Sign up is easy and registration is very simple. I signed up for the newsletter too so that I’ll be notified of new products and of course sales!
-
The site is easy to navigate. The categories and product pics make looking through items a breeze. I love that most of the items have multiple product pics too which allows me to “inspect” the item that I want in in different angles.
-
There are three payment options at the site: bank transfer, paypal and COD. Yep you can pay on delivery!
The site also has so many choices. Most of the items at the site are also invented and developed by ingenious moms and parents who discovered a new thingamajig to answer the needs of their kids. If I were to pick my favorite item at the site, it’s this:
The Aqueduck!
We love love love the aqueduck! It makes washing hands so much easier! Even if David has a footstool, he still couldn’t reach our sink so I still have to carry him so that he could wash his hands. The Aqueduck solves that problem by extending the faucet. Only a mom could think of this gadget for sure. David was so amazed that he kept finding excuses to wash his hands hehe. Brushing his teeth is also an easier task because of the Aqueduck.
It’s so easy to use, just snap the Aqueduck to any faucet type and go!
Here’s a great video on how clever this product is 🙂
Giveaway: Now here’s your chance to win your very own Aqueduck! Just follow the instructions in the rafflecopter widget and you’re all set!
That’s it!! Thanks and good luck!!
