I am ringing in the year of the dragon with another giveaway!! I currently have one live giveaway (it’s sponsored by Next9 and you can join here) and now here’s another one for all you mommas out there. This new giveaway is sponsored by Bamboo Dappy! Bamboo Dappy is a new brand of washable cloth diapers that’s made from real bamboo fibers! Mommy Jenny, is the super mommy who created Bamboo Dappy. Why Bamboo you ask?
Bamboo is an organic material that is easily absorbed back into the environment once it is used up, making it biodegradable and decomposes within 6-8 months.
Highly absorbent material – 60% more than cotton
Hypoallergenic – natural bamboo does not cause allergic reactions
Has medical and anti-bacterial qualities and can preserve this even after 50 washings
Helps get rid of diaper rash, decreased circulation, sores from waste
Bamboo fiber is naturally round without sharp spurs to irritate the skin, which made it softer than those made out of synthetic materials.
Bamboo Dappy also comes in a variety of prints and colors too!
For this giveaway, three winners will win a Bamboo Dappy each! Just use the widget below to enter the contest. The rules are simple and the rafflecopter widget will help you go through all the required steps so that your entry will be considered valid! The contest will be up until Feb. 3! Goodluck dear mommies!!

February 2, 2012 at 5:55 pmFor a mom-to-be like me using organic products for my baby and for myself is not just to help to protect us from harmful chemicals but also to help our environment; We all know that being pregnant can get you thirsty most of the time, so I always bring my own water bottle. Another way of helping is by not using plastics. We always used recyclable bag not just for grocery but also for shopping for my baby’s things… Even though my baby doesn’t have the knowledge regarding this matter but at the time he will grace us with his presence, my baby can also help on this advocacy by using washable cloth diaper 🙂

February 2, 2012 at 11:39 amYay! Another giveaway! Haha! At home, we always try to pool as much of the recyclable items we have at home for disposal, such as plastic bottles, aluminum cans, etc, instead of throwing them out with the rest of the garbage. My cabinets under the kitchen sink are full of these recyclable throwaways and with today’s market, it’s pretty easy to compile a big bag for bringing to proper recycling facilities. 🙂 I’m always looking for ways to reduce our family’s environmental footprint, which includes reducing diaper use for my 2yr old and my upcoming baby… cloth diapers are the way to go! I used cloth diapers on my firstborn for 4months straight before having to switch to diapers (working mom here). I hope to be able to do same or longer for the 2nd baby. 🙂

February 1, 2012 at 5:03 pmat work, i can be more earth friendly by thinking first before printing any documents or email communications/transactions. & also, for my scratch papers, instead of just throwing it immediately, i segregate those papers that still has blank space at the back then i bring it home so my 1y/o baby can use it to scribble on & for other used papers, i ask our office janitor to compile it & to sell it. little ways that you can help earth & also save a little. saved funds to use for small office activities. 🙂

February 1, 2012 at 2:20 pmi’m a big fan of the modern cloth diapers out today, it gives eco-conscious moms (like us!) more options without compromising convenience or health! we try to be eco-friendly in pretty much everything we do at home and out — using cloth diapers whenever we can, using and having eco-bags on hand, segregating trash and even in cleaning our home, majority of the time i use baking soda/vinegar based or essential oil cleaners — safe for baby and friendly for the environment 🙂

January 31, 2012 at 11:35 amTry as much as possible to use organic products for your family. Also as a young mom who does almost all the shopping for the family (grocery, etc.) I am now trying to develop the habit of using my eco bag to minimize the use of plastic bags. 🙂

January 31, 2012 at 9:19 amI am actually not just planning on using cloth diapers I am also planning on breastfeeding my baby until he grows up. Feeding baby cows milk is one of the reasons why we’re experiencing global warming. Having cows locked up, injecting them some drugs for them to be able to produce more milk etc. Breastfeeding helps you save money, animals, your baby and the Earth =)

After using it for 2 years now, I am so happy and I am thankful to her. Its not just I save lots of lots and lot of money, but I also been very nice to the environment who really needs to be taken care of. I also share this to my husband’s cousin who gave birth last December, because we all know that newly born baby is oftenly pee. January 27, 2012 at 6:55 pmI’ve been using cloth diapers on my son since he was a newborn. It’s a nice way of introducing him to an eco-friendly perspective this early in his life. When grocery shopping, we always bring our eco bags. Special thanks to the Pasig Gov’t for the strict implementation. My next project would be natural household cleaners 🙂

January 26, 2012 at 8:29 pmEversince I became pregnant, I’ve been a fan of everything organic and earth-friendly. Not that I didn’t practice or do things to protect Mother Earth before my pregnancy, but mommyhood totally turned me into one organic-advocate-soon-to-be-mom (due in 3-4weeks) 🙂 At home, we make sure to recycle plastic bags by asking our househelp to use and reuse them when going to the market. When we go out to shop, we always bring our own cloth shopping bags. Also, when I did shopping for baby’s toiletries, I opted for the organic and eco-friendly baby wash and detergents. Lastly, my hubby and I decided that we will use cloth diapers to save our wallets and Mother Earth as well. 🙂
