I went through this list and just said WHUT. You know what though, I’m interviewing applicants here at the office who have not heard of Kulit Bulilit, Punky Brewster, Student Canteen, The Equalizer….yeah the list goes on and the puzzled looks have yet to go away. The generation gap in our office is palpable when pop culture is discussed. I always feel nay, know that the grunge/alternative era of the 90s was the best time for music and that all these EMO bands should just cut their hair and learn to growl like grown men (hallo Eddie Vedder!!). Then again, I think I’m turning into those folks that just listen to 60s music all the time (RJTV’s raison d’etre).
And that paragraph right there is me sounding like an old geezer 😛 I just wanted to share you guys this list, that’s all haha 😀 I wish you guys a good weekend and I hope you get a chuckler or two out of this 🙂

July 18, 2011 at 8:41 pmWow, it did make me feel old! Especially that one about Jurassic Park being older than Justin Bieber.
Here’s another one: SM Mega Mall was built over 20 years ago. =) That just means it’s my UP student number’s 20th anniversary next year!!

July 16, 2011 at 11:29 pmHahaha! I remember reading this on Facebook months ago, and I still laugh. 90’s was the birth of grunge, and I’m SO happy I was in the thick of it. Although there’s something I can’t resist about 80’s new wave, hahahaha!

July 15, 2011 at 8:44 pmLies, lies, lies! I feel even older than you. As much as I feel like my generation was the 90’s, I still think the 80’s had the best music.
