My favorite kikay moment with my niece Jyl was when I brought her to a spa for the first time. At first she was bored because she was only watching me . Suddenly she giggled like crazy when the spa lady started massaging my butt! Haha! We ended the day with a pedicure. We went home with the reddest nails ever!

My favorite bonding activity with my 26-month old daughter is picking out clothes to wear each time we go out with her Dad. :)) We enjoy color-coordinating and looking for hair accessories to match our outfits!

I will always remember the time when I bought her a plain fuschia headband. She so liked it she wore it to school everyday!!! That is, until I bought her one of those headbands with huge bows! She now wears it wherever she goes. She is a huge headband fanatic!

Okay, there are two names because it would be unfair to choose one. My favorite kikay moment with my twin girls is dressing them alike from head to toe, and letting people guess who’s who whenever we go out, while I dress my self in matching styles.

Our favorite kikay moment is during playtime. We play with her dolls, of course! We would play fashion and modelling with those cute little dolls. We would brush their long and blond hair in perfection, braided their hair, tie them in different knots and we put different accessories on them ( colorful clips and headbands) Afterwhich, we dress them up into fashionable outfits and play with them like they were really on the ramp and modelling our style and designs.

My favorite kikay moment with my 9-year old daughter, Gwenevere, is whenever we style each other’s hair. While I’m watching TV or sitting in front of the computer, she would comb my hair and style it with whatever style that comes into her mind, or just comb to smoothen my hair out. After that, it’s my turn to comb her hair and try different hair style like braids, and just playing with the clips and headbands. I love these moments with my daughter! ๐

my favorite kikay moment with my daughter, Eleanor, was when she joined me in my bellydancing exercise. She was only four then. TO get into shape, Iโve downloaded some bellydancing clips and locked myself in our room (we were living with my inlaws then). To get into the mood, I changed into a flowing skirt and wore a bra, nothing fancy. My daughter who was playing in the room, got up and decided to bellydance too! She changed into her own skirt and had a large handkerchief tied around her chest, like a bandeau bra! We danced around and around. After a while, we quietly made our way down to the first floor where my hubby was watching TV. Boy, was he surprised to see two bellydancers!
(can’t believe its the third time I’ve posted this. sorry! ๐

My favorite kikay moment with my 19-month old is shopping together. ๐ At her age, she already loves flipping through the racks, picking up dresses, and putting it in front of her, heads to the nearest mirror, so she can see if it looks good on her! ๐ Oh, and I canโt help but mention how much she loves fitting on shoes. ๐ Sheโd actually grab the shoe from my hand (if she likes it) and try to put it on her feet. And if she does like it, she wouldnโt let it go. Just like Mama! ๐
And seeing that precious delighted smile on her face when she sees new clothes and shoesโฆI donโt know if itโs the colors or the designs that make her smileโฆor maybe she really does have that young shopaholic heart! ๐ I so know the feeling, coz thatโs what I feel when I shop too! ๐
It really makes for a great mom-and-daughter kikay bonding session. Not sure if itโs great for Daddyโs wallet though. Hehe. ๐

My kikay moment with my girl “Maeka” is when she dress by herself I always ask her why she is wearing 2 blouses at a time and she always says “That’s what you call style Mama”. I also remember when i saw the pictures when she did the literary contest and changing her costume with no assistance, she forgot to removed the undershirt of her uniform and the tiara is at the back of her head. The undershirt is seen in the neckline of her dress and when I asked again she answered me the same “That’s a style Mama”.:)

Dressing my Moira was soo much fun for me it seems i have alive Barbie. Everytime She’s wearing a new clothes or new mix and match i always take a picture of her, the two us or plus my son. Most of the time I use my cellphone cus that’s the easiest to grab. One time, we were in the mall and I’m paying at the counter and Moira trying to get my attention i was just gave her my cellphone to distract her and i heard a little cute voice says “cheese” then i looked at her holding my phone up Moira trying to take a picture of herself. She really gave me a big smile and so the cashier lady at that moment. I can say “It’s a girl thing.” ๐

My favorite Kikay Moment with my daughter is fixing her long straight hair when goes to school and getting her geared up when we go out on weekends.
It’s a good thing that Daniella is a kikay because she loves the girly stuffs I for for her! I just couldn’t control splurging on hair accesories, bracelets, necklaces for young kikays and other trinkets whenever I see it at the mall displays and girly magazines. I always think that she would wear those, and fortunately my child carries herself like a Queen! It’s a wonderful feeling that we bond as we prettify each other.

My favorite kikay moment with my daughter Amber, is having a bath together! Yes, that’s serve as our bonding time too!
She imitates me the way I put shampoo on my hair and scrub my body with a soap or body wash.
After a bath, I let her choose her own dress for that day and let her wear it on her own.
Then the best part of it “everyday”, is at the front of the mirror- comb our hair together, put a face powder and lip gloss! And…
a flying kiss at front of the mirror with a poise! haha

There was this one time that I was getting ready for work, when I was puttin my lipstick on, Bella pointed her finger on her pouted lips to signal me to put on lipstick to her too. Then she tried to reach the mirror to see herself. I carried her so she could see herself. She had this wonderful smile that warms my heart so I started to play with her and pouted my lips and she started doing the same. We kept on modelling our faces on the mirror. We were having so much fun that I called the office to say that couldn’t come that day.

My favorite kikay moment with my 21 months old daughter is when she brushes her hair away from her face with her hands (sometimes with just one hand and sometimes with both hands at the same time), we noticed her doing that when she’s still 14-15 months old. She also likes to wear mommy’s or her tita’s shades and her tita’s hair bands (she always insists to put them on her own).

My favorite kikay moment with my daughter is when we put her headband everytime we go out. We never thought that she will like that kind of hair accessories because she used to wear side clips and pigtails. Her first headband was given by my sister and everytime she will go out she will look for it and insist to wear it ๐

My fave kikay moment/s with my girl is when we shop together. Even before she turned 3 y.o., she always finds it a thrill to buy shoes and adorable, and sometimes, over-the-top hairbands. It’s one of our bonding moments when I take pictures of her while she “models” her own accessories!
