Noah is turning 4 in a month! Can you believe it?? The little dude is taller and definitely more active. We’re also seeing a little bit more of his personality. Noah is a happy, playful prankster who still loves action songs and his pre-school. Noah still goes to therapy and he still needs a lot of guidance in a lot of his day to day activities and one of them is self-feeding. We’re slowly working towards this milestone, giving Noah lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement. Along with this are tools that help Noah make it easy for him to feed himself. We have a spoon with a fat handle and the Doidy Cup that we got from Little Earth Tiddler.
The Doidy Cup is amazing!! It’s a funny looking cup that encourages kids to pick up the cup and drink from them because they can see the liquid inside. And because it’s tilted, the effort required for them to drink from the cup is minimal. Noah can drink from the cup very easily. I also love this cup over a sippy cup because sippy cups do not help with tongue protrusion. Noah’s getting the hang of the Doidy cup and we’re slowly transitioning him to a regular cup (we’re using small paper cups for the mean time) but for now, the Doidy cup’s always at Noah’s side during meal time.
The Doidy Cup is available from Little Earth Tiddler, which is a great local online store that carries unique products sourced from the UK and Australia. I love their selections!! They have Aden and Anais muslin swaddles and Jack N’ Jill Natural Toothpaste (Php410) which David loves the taste of so toothbrush time is even more fun for him.
