This party is for Kim, whose mom Jhoanne is the brains (and beauty) behind PolkaDots Events. It must be awesome to have a mom for a party planner and judging by Kim’s 5th Birthday Party, it certainly is! Jhoanne did an Ice Cream party for Kim and the details are just adorable!! Case in point are these ice cream themed giveaways and prizes!
and this HUUUGE Sundae Balloon
This party is perfect for kids who celebrate birthdays in the summer. You can do your own Sundae Station and kids can do their own ice cream creations with candy toppings, marshmallows, fruits and chocolates!
Jhoanne told me how she planned Kim’s cool shebang 😀 Here’s Kim’s Ice Cream Social as told to manilamommy.com

alon’s ice cream shoppelet us know the scoop…
daddy – (number)
mommy – (number)this was the text we used for kim’s popsicle invites =) we wanted a pop-up invite with a facade of an ice cream shoppe in front and a dainty looking interior but decided to make use of the colorful giant popsicle sticks we found and created some yummy looking popsicle invites =) i am not sure if were able to top the 3d castle from last year but our guests definitely said our invites were COOL! =)
i guess this is all the kuento we have for now about kim’s birthday… its actually very, very loooong already =) thanks for reading this far and i hope youenjoyed learning about kim’s ice cream social and hope you got tips for your next party =)
oh, another tradition for kim’s birthday is getting her candles that match the theme. we get them in the US every year (usually the wilton brand has many themes to choose from) but this time we found a set in living well at the podium =) a set normally contains 4 pieces and since kim was turning 5 i was going to get 2 sets when i remembered that my grandmother had an ice cream candle in her house which was unused =) of course, she couldn’t say no to her great granddaughter when she asked if she could have it and use it on her birthday =)
thanks you cards and tokens – we haven’t decided on the card design but we have to do that soon and send them out asap together with the photo magnet tokens =) my supplier friend was supposed to come to do on-site photo magnets but they had an emergency and she couldn’t make it so we just took photos of the guests with kim and then we’ll give it to them as a surprise =)
Thanks Mommy Jhoanne!! What a really “cool” birthday party hehe 😀 Here are more pics of the details and decors for Kim’s ice cream social 🙂 If you just want to see the pics and not the slideshow just click HERE.
Thanks again Kim and Jhoanne!!
