This Magnolia chicken commercial was first shared by my friend Eli who blogs at The Painters Wife. I guess she shared it because she wanted someone else to cry with her and see what our future is with our sons hahaha. But yes, this ad by Magnolia chicken really hits the spot. I dread the day where I’ll be telling my kid “Papunta ka pa lang pabalik na ko!” and all those things my parents threw at me when I was growing up but I am slowly seeing the logic behind those cliches. Right now, I’ve got the same harassed look, scraggly hair and haggardo versoza aura of the mom in the ad down pat.
Grab a tissue, this will certainly bring a tear to your eye or at the very least make you sigh.

September 21, 2011 at 9:31 amhi sis! ako naman, I saw the ad AFTER I scolded my 2-year-old son for not packing away his toys. I told him I’m going to throw away his toys so I got his toy basket and brought it in the laundry area outside the house. He cried really hard then I saw the commercial. Lakas ng tawa ko but I was teary eyed after. π
