(Press Release) Flow in the City: Surf Yoga Samba - July 30, 2011 If there's one thing that I'm working on this year is to stick to a fitness routine. I've done Plana Forma and loved it but I haven't been back in such a long time and my body is really feeling it (the stress at work is another thing altogether) I've heard about Flow last year and I've been intrigued ever since. It's an awesome weekend retreat of surfing, yoga and samba in La Union. Now the organizers are bringing Flow … [Continue reading]
The Three Stooges
I'm the photographer in the family and so a complete picture of us three is a rarity. Not that I mind it because I don't like being photographed (no I'm not a vampire). We had a few family pics in Singapore but in this one DW was asleep in his stroller: This one is a rarity, us three all in frame. DW took the picture with my dad's G12 and it was perfect! The Three Stooges in Instagram pa! (Don't you love instagram?!) We have a few family pics but this one's my favorite so far … [Continue reading]

I went through this list and just said WHUT. You know what though, I'm interviewing applicants here at the office who have not heard of Kulit Bulilit, Punky Brewster, Student Canteen, The Equalizer....yeah the list goes on and the puzzled looks have yet to go away. The generation gap in our office is palpable when pop culture is discussed. I always feel nay, know that the grunge/alternative era of the 90s was the best time for music and that all these EMO bands should just cut their hair and … [Continue reading]
Peeing in the First World
In my first post about our trip to Singapore, I swooned and sang praises for their Family Rooms and Parents Lounges (See: Pooping in the First World). BDW read the post and told me "You forgot to post about the child friendly cubicles!!" And thus this post my dear friends. I've seen it in a lot of washrooms here in Manila. The mom and the kid (sometimes kids) would go in one cubicle to pee. I would often see the kid's little feet going back and fourth and around the cubicle with the mom … [Continue reading]
