Have you ever been in and around QC lately? Although I was born and raised here, I've never really explored QC until I entered UP and found the small eateries and cafes in and around the Sikatuna and Teacher's Villages. Did you know that the flower shop Petal Attraction, which is always included in those forwarded emails about weird shop names is actually along Maginhawa St? UNICEF and SM Supermalls: Breastfeeding Supporters

Last Friday was the culmination of Breastfeeding Week and I got an invite to an event helmed by Unicef and SM entitled You, Me and Mommy. To be honest, it felt weird attending the event and sitting with super breastfeeding advocates knowing how my struggles with breastfeeding went.  But setting that aside, it was very  encouraging to know that major steps are being taken to make breastfeeding a much more accepted activity in our community.
