Last Mother’s Day was the first Mother’s Day I spent in a mall, with other mommy friends and their family, shopping. So in short, it was a perfectly awesome day!!
I love the SoMoms and I love that we get together for fun events like this one. I’ve grown close to some of these mommy bloggers since knowing them a couple of years back and it’s awesome that we get to do silly things like group shopping haha 😀
Ayala Malls sponsored the SoMoms and treated us to really wonderful Mother’s Day affair at the Gallery of Greenbelt 5. Prior to the big day,Ayala Malls and Gingersnaps generously gave us gift cards to shop for outfits for ourselves and for our kids. Our family LOVES Gingersnaps because they have the softest shirts for boys. They also have cool shorts, pants and polos. It’s a bit of a challenge to find funky outfits for little boys so Gingersnaps has been our go-to place ever since David outgrew his onesies. Sayang lang that Noah was a bit small for their baby line. Our wee little baby still couldn’t fit in their 6-12 months shirts. Di bale Noah, when you grow long enough we’ll go shopping at Gingersnaps again!
One of the things I also shop for at Gingersnaps are their accessories. Di lang sila pang kids, they have some pretty cool necklaces for moms too. I bought the necklace that looked like a bunch of friendship bracelets bound together. It adds the perfect punch of color to my wardrobe filled with blacks and grays. The necklace is just Php399 too! Score!
On Mother’s Day itself, the Gallery of Greenbelt 5 was transformed into a garden and a tea party was set up for all of us and our families. Bizu catered the affair and the whole set-up was lovely to say the least 🙂
After the welcome. we all went to the Butterfly Garden which was a definite HIT! David had a great time touching the delicate butterflies, seeing their cocoons and just learning about their life cycle. I love these pics of the DWs, enjoy na enjoy talaga sila!
Next stop was Gingersnaps, the official outfitter of the SoKids haha 😀 All the cuties were decked out in Gingersnaps that day. David wore coral colored jeans and a chambray shirt.
We had our group pic taken inside the store of course
And look at the kiddieparazis in action!!!
Next stop… Lancome! Woohoo!!
I zoomed into this line. The Advanced Genifique is one of my must-buys. I am slowly starting to invest in skincare because my basic skincare regimen is begging for a much needed boost. This line by Lancome has been lauded by beauty editors and I’m excited to try it soon!
Last on our stop was Kiehl’s a brand that I’ve known since the 90s. Trips to Nordstrom with my Tita Merly always yielded samples from the Kiehl’s counter and my favorite has always been the Mango scented Lip Balm. When Kiehl’s opened here in Greenbelt, I rushed to get my hands on a the lip balm. They also have BB creams now! I love BB Creams so I made a mental note to head over to the store once my current tube runs out.
The kids were pooped!! (but still adorable)
We went back to the Gallery to have family pics taken. Tammy David had the patience of angelssss to keep up with us moms and our really excitable kids hehe
I love how our pics turned out and it was such a great way to end the day.

Thank you Ayala Malls for this wonderful day. Ayala Malls actually celebrates Mother’s Day every year and this year they set up a garden party for moms. For a minimum purchase, we saw customers treating themselves to the Bizu dessert, coffee, tea and the free photo booth inside the gallery.
Also, thank you SoMoms for making being a mom so fun! SoMoms SoFun?! (ok tama na hahaha)
