The Steripod is a god send. Our toothbrushes are always naked and capless. I have no idea why and how our plastic caps would always mysteriously disappear. Maybe there’s a toothbrush cap circus and our caps have run off to join it. St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost things but I have not yet prayed to him as I’m saving his intercession for bigger things in the future (like a winning lotto ticket for example).
Last Saturday, I met up with my mommy blogger friends and Kris of OCMominmanila brought giveaways with her!! We all got goody bags filled with Firefly toothbrushes (reviews to come soon) and this!
The Steripod!! I actually got a sample of these last year and I had yet to post my review so Kris’ goody bag gave me the perfect excuse to unearth the Steripod review from the drafts folder and tell you all that this thingamajig is just wonderful. The Steripod has a patented hygiene system that’s guaranteed to keep your toothbrushes safe from all the particles that float around your bathroom most especially after flushing the toilet (You do know that you should always close your toilet bowl when flushing otherwise you’d have microscopic particles of sh!t floating around and landing on everything including *gasp* your toothbrushes!).
The system lasts for 3 months and it leaves a minty taste on your toothbrush. The Steripod comes in pairs and are large enough to fit the head of an electric toothbrush. The Steripods we use now are more than 3 months old but we still use them. It’s a big toothbrush cap that you can’t lose and I like that it’s shaped like a large binder clip too which makes it really easy to grip.
The Steripod 2 pack retails for Php 314.00 and is available at all SM Department Stores and Watson’s.
