I think we all become someone else’s umbrella at some point. We’ve all cheered on a good friend or a family member who was going through rough times or we’ve been very eager sounding boards to people who needed to vent. Sometimes, we’re the ones who needed to be sheltered and we are thankful for the protection. I have come to need this umbrella a lot of times recently. Dan, family members, fellow parents in DSAPI, and friends old and new have all opened up, taken me in and allowed me to stay when I wasn’t still sure about stepping out from under the cover.
Thank you to those who have given me shelter whether the troubles were just slight showers or raging typhoons. I hold you all in my heart and my family is blessed because of all of you.
