Growing up in QC, I have always heard jokes that Fairview is so far that it should be named FARview harharhar well guess what I was in Fairview last Saturday, Fairview Terraces to be exact! I was invited to tour the newly opened wellworth department store. I came full force with Dan, David, Noah, Yaya Ann, Yaya Linda, my mom, dad and my brother Gino. None of us has ever been to Fairview Terraces and the invite for me to tour wellworth along with other mom bloggers was the perfect excuse to go out of South QC and to head on to North QC.
I have always been a fan of Ayala Malls. Fairview Terraces is definitely one of their most beautiful projects. As with most Ayala malls, there is always open space within the mall with lots of greenery. It’s our own version of public parks in our really crowded city. The mall itself is beautiful, the walkways are wide enough for strollers and the layout is spacious so you don’t feel cramped even if there were a lot of people in the mall that day.
But I was there for wellworth and I was so happy we made the trek.
wellworth in a nutshell is a dream department store. It has a great selection of items at price points that are very budget friendly. wellworth is a venture of Stores Specialists Inc (under SIAL Specialy Retailers Inc) and Ayala Land. When I found out who the owners were, it just made more sense. The store certainly has the trademark Rustan’s customer service and ambiance. The layout was also well thought out so that you don’t see a lot of clutter with the signs and displays. The colors are also subdued greens, grays and browns which are very easy on the eyes.
So allow me to share with you some pics of wellworth.
Their home section is at the 3rd floor. I found out from Michelle Perlas, wellworth’s very amiable head of Marketing that Philux actually created a line of furniture for the store. There were so many things to love in this section alone!
A lot of items were also on sale, there were electric fans that were buy 1 take 1! We just bought a pair of electric fans the other day kaya sayang haha 😀 Some other stuff that were on special sale were these tables that are perfect for those nooks that need sprucing up in your home. That rocking chair would be perfect in a veranda.
Customer service is also at the 3rd floor. You can pay your bills and also exchange your foreign currencies at this area. The customer service area is also where you can apply for a SHINE card, wellworth’s loyalty card where points are redeemed for gift certificates. You can sign up for your own SHINE card here.
The 3rd floor also houses traditional Pinoy souvenir items such as popular banig woven bags, chocolates from Theo and Philo and other goodies. I want that woven bag!!!
Next up! The women’s section 🙂 This is the most sulit section for me. We don’t have a uniform at work so I would need a few new tops every now and then. I would almost always need new tops and dresses when I’m sent on client visits. If there is a section that is worth coming back it’s the women’s section that’s at the 2nd floor for me.
wellworth has a lot of private labels and they’re in full force in their clothing lines for men, women and kids. My most favorite is “Comfort for Her” a line of easy basics that’s perfect for everyday wear.
The best part is that these items start at Php 399! I am soooo coming back for these:
There are just so many to choose from. The fabric is cool and light and because it’s jersey, it drapes well and is universally flattering.
They also have a line of structured office wear called “Tailor Fit”
For much more casual wear, check out Erin:
Accents is their private label for shoes, bags and accessories:
The younger set will definitely go for F&F, a fast fashion brand from the UK, We are Young, wellworth’s private label and their swimwear and beachwear line Shore.
The kids section is amazing! One full floor of toys and clothes for our playful and fashionable young ones 🙂 I love that they have spaces for the kids to play too
wellworth also carries Debenham brands some of which, when I visited were on sale by as much as 70%!!! Also watch out for the diffusion lines of some brands such as Aerosoles (A2) and Spanx’s Assets.
Ino Caluza’s RTW line of denim VIK is exclusively available at wellworth.
These are just some of the good buys I spied in wellworth!! Me and Dan have made plans to go back again for sure. The mall is wonderful and wellworth is a must visit for good and unique buys. Dito na kami mamimili ng mga pamasko ha! (If I have any friends and relatives reading this, alam nyo na saan kami mamimili ni Dan hahaha!)
Have you guys tried wellworth too? What are your favorite buys from there?
