Noah was baptized in Christ the King Church along Greenmeadows Avenue. It’s the same church as where David was baptized. The church is now requiring families to provide wax catchers for candles. I didn’t have to think about this when David was baptized and so his candles were simple and looked like this:
The link on how to make David’s candles is here. For Noah though I had to figure out how to make wax catchers and it was Paper Chic that came to the rescue!!
I used the candy cups from Paper Chic plus light blue ribbon. I made an x mark in the middle of each candy cup so that I could insert the candles after wrapping half of each candle in ribbon. I fastened the ribbon with blue pushpins. This is such an easy solution and I must say very cute too hehe 😛
Pics below are from Pau Bengero 🙂
You can order the candy cups from Paper Chic studio. They’re all available online at their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PaperChicStudio? and at the Fab Manila store in Galleria. Fellow SoMom Cai Sio is the Donya Paper Chic, share your DIY projects on IG and she’ll regram them to share with other donya DIY-ing moms hehe
