A Review and a Giveaway! Pura Kiki Stainless Steel Bottle

Everytime we go out with DW, we always bring a bottle of water for him. That’s the minimum requirement for an active toddler like DW and I want to make sure he’s hydrated.  Consumo Inc, the exclusive distributor of Pura Kiki stainless bottles here in the Philippines sent me a Pura Kiki Stainless Steel Bottle to try out and I fell in love at first sight.

The bottle is made of stainless steel so you can be assured that none of those harmful toxins like BPAs, Pthlates, lead and PVC would leak to your kid’s drink. It’s also lightweight and slim so that it can fit in the outside pocket of any bag. (I wrote about BPA and BPA-Free bottles here and here )

The collar/wide neck is also made of stainless steel while the sippy spout is made of medical-grade silicone. The cap is made of soft silicone too and it seals the sippy in tight.

I requested the sippy because DW has enough milk bottles already. However you can use the same bottle as a milk bottle, just replace the sippy with whatever nipple you’re currently  using. The Avent firm sippy spout can actually fit this bottle as well if you prefer a harder spout for your kid to use.

Other nipples that can be used with the Pura Kiki system are:

Avent® 12m+ Sports Spout, ThinkBaby™ Nipples, Born Free™ Nipples, Dr. Brown’s™ Wide Neck Nipples, MAM™ Nipples, Pigeon™ Silicone Nipples, and UPIS nipples

The bottle can be sterilized just like any feeding bottle. The wide neck makes it very easy to clean as well.  The bottle has external and internal markings although I have to admit, eyeballing the water level can be a bit tricky.

This bottle also wins points for being so cool-looking. We’ve actually gotten a lot of compliments from the bottle from strangers because it’s just so different. The only setback I see is the price. This bottle that I tested retails for Php 990. It’s an investment for sure but then again, you can buy this same bottle as a feeding bottle and convert it into a water bottle which your kid can bring to school! I’ve actually eyed this for my own water bottle too but I guess have to buy my own haha 😛

Is this still active, I mean the giving away of this pura Kiki bottle?..I have been looking for that kind of bottle for my son since he was breastfed for two years and I want him to give a formula milk now.he does not want to use the usual bottle andI have bought different brands of bottle milk but none of them suits him.and it really amazed me seeing the pura Kiki and I know that my son would really love it.

  8. Hi, I’ve been reading all over the net to find which all-around bottle will be best for my growing toddlers. I want something they can grow old with and I really want to get rid of all those plastic bottles, and it looks like this is the one I’ve been looking for.

Love this item from Pura Kiki, I always bring water with me for my son whenever we go out for grocery/shopping/malling…i bought the leading bottle container the LOCK & LOCK…but I am not secure about the locking system..there’s one time I reach inside my bag and accidentally open it..click lock that’s why..and my bag is a mess…Love this product <3 😉

  40. I’d love to win these! I’ve wanted my own Pura bottles since I first heard of them (before they became available locally), and how that they’re here, it would be great for my toddler to use them. I use stainless bottles for my own drinking water simply because water tastes funny to me if they are in plastic containers. I’d want my toddler to taste crisp, clean water like I do whenever he takes a drink from his own Pura bottle! 😀
