I visited Smart Explorers last week and I chatted up Teacher Larae (the directress) and Teacher Darryl who are both young, smart and dedicated teachers of the school. The school offers a lot of programs for toddlers and young adults. While I was there a Little Gymnastics session was going on and I snapped pics of these cuties jumping high and doing their egg rolls:

I spotted this section by the entrance. It was the school’s Student Store where kids can use credits they earned in class to buy goodies. The credits are called smarties and they can use it to buy Aprons to hair clips to erasers (which I was told is the best-seller!)

 

What sets Smart Explorers apart from other pre-schools is that it is the only stand-alone, accredited member of the IPC (International Pre-school Curriculum) in the Philippines. The IPC is the world’s first curriculum provider dedicated to raising standards in preschool education. It is the largest association and accreditation service for international pre-schools, with over 150 members worldwide. The curricula they provide, is one of the few that meet the UNESCO standard.

The school caters to kids aged 14 months to 12 years of age. It offers toddler classes, a tutoring program, enrichment programs (to complement your child’s lessons at school), and extra-curricular programs such as Gymnastics and Martial Arts. They also have an (optional) Early French Immersion Program for our nursery and kindergarten kids! Why French? Because Smart Explorers is a Filipino-French owned company.
