How was the first long weekend of August for ya? QC peeps actually were lucky because the 19th was also a holiday. If I worked in QC I would have taken Thursday off too and made it into a 5-day weekend. I'm actually on leave now pero sick leave *blech* I've been rained on last week while waiting for my Uber. I didn't think much of it, I'm not sickly but I guess early days of prepping David for school and just spending the entire day stressed finally took a toll on me. I probably need to take … [Continue reading]
Win Your Baby’s First Php 1 Million with Pampers
If there's one thing I wanted to have done sooner, it's investing. I've written about about Financial Quotient and Money Memory before. Rose Fausto's talk really made me more determined to be much wiser with how I handle with my money. It's still hard to get the discipline, I am still prone to impulsive shopping trips (ang dami kasing sale naman!!) I always remember now though that the money I save now and use wisely will really pay us back in the long run. And now, Pampers has an ongoing … [Continue reading]

I am not high maintenance. My routines are very simple and the products I use are mostly drugstore brands that are easy on the pocket and just as effective. An extension of my lazy routine is my wish to have wash and wear hair. I have had this wish since high school. In college, I finally found my hair inspiration: Trinity of The Matrix. I cut my hair short and LOVED it!! Of course as with most girls, nagsawa ako sa short hair and I grew my hair long again. I had bangs cut but my hair was in … [Continue reading]

We were going through the motions of listing down what pre-natal vitamins I should take and fixing our schedules for my visits. Towards the end of our check-up, our dear OB handed us a brochure for CordLife. When I was pregnant with David, we considered banking his cord blood but the costs of doing so in 2008 prevented us from getting the service. In Noah's case, we considered … [Continue reading]
