We celebrated Noah’s birthday last Saturday. We’re still reeling from the celebrations so we’re staying home today to rest (and eat lots of cake haha).
It’s a blessed day for sure. I had Dan do the thank yous and David led the prayer before meals. I didn’t want to talk because I knew I would cry. It’s been an overwhelming year and sometimes I feel that we’re still finding our footing. Last Saturday brought together family and close friends and we all rejoiced in the gift that is Noah.
Our theme for Noah’s party is Noah’s Ark, I know ang hirap isipin haha but the theme took on another dimension for Noah is the calm AFTER the storm. Noah is our rainbow, our hope and our joy. He is God’s gift to us and our family and he is loved and treasured always.
This birthday party was extra special for us because we also celebrated our birth as a new family. Our new normal, our new journey. I would never in a million years imagine our lives to have taken this detour but even if it’s just a year, I could not think of any other way to live our lives now.
I’ve been looking at how people celebrated with us by searching for #blessedbdayNoah in Instagram. We hired PrintSocial for our party and we chose the hashtag a few days before the party. It was so fun seeing the pictures. Here’s a screenshot from my Statigram account:
We love all our suppliers and we worked with a few new ones too!
Here’s a rundown of who we worked with:
Caterer: M Catering
Photographer: K Snaps Production
Venue: Acropolis Clubhouse
Host: Jiggles The Balloon Lady
Giveaways: Booths Republic (Craft Camp, 3D Me, iStickers) and PrintSocial
Styling: Polka Dots Events
Cake and Cupcakes: Tazzy Cakes
Our suppliers were wonderful and gracious. We all had a fun time and Jiggles just outdid herself with her birthday balloon creation for Noah.
I’ll be doing the reviews one at a time so that I can give the guys the credit they deserve because they were all just wonderful!!
But for now, we’ll just eat, rest, recharge and relax hehe.
Have a great Sunday guys!
